Nathan Amerson received his PhD in Theology from Trinity Theological Seminary in Evansville, Indiana.  His dissertation, A God Nearby, explores the Immanence and Transcendence of God as presented by medieval writers Anselm of Canterbury, Bernard of Clairvaux, and Thomas Aquinas.  He lives in Salem, OR with his wife of 25 years and they have 5 children.
